Need mobile truck repair in Chippewa Falls? Neuman Truck Service handles it from our base in Pine City. We run a 24/7 phone line and a fully outfitted service truck. The service truck comes to your yard, your dock or a safe spot off US-53 or WIS-29. It carries the tools and parts to make the repair there.
Chippewa Falls has a busy mix of freight for a city its size. Three industrial parks, beverage and food distributors, logistics warehouses and manufacturers all sit near the junction of two four-lane highways. Heavy, dense loads like beverages and building products are hard on trailers, tires and suspensions. The estimate comes first, and the finished repair carries a 12-month warranty.
Highways We Cover Around Chippewa Falls
- US-53
- WIS-29
- WIS-124
- WIS-178
US-53 runs as a freeway through Lake Hallie, on the edge of Chippewa Falls. Exit 94 is Business 53 and WIS-124 into town, and Exit 95 is the cloverleaf where US-53 crosses WIS-29. South on US-53, it's a short run to I-94 and Eau Claire. North, the same freeway carries traffic toward Bloomer and Rice Lake.
WIS-29 is the city's east and west artery. It passes south of Chippewa Falls as a freeway and continues east as a four-lane highway toward Wausau and Green Bay. The four-lane work between Elk Mound and Green Bay ended in 2005. West, it meets I-94 near Elk Mound, close to Menomonie. Long stretches of WIS-29 run through open farm country, where a truck that loses a tire or trailer air bag needs help where it stopped. Our truck tire repair service covers steer, drive and trailer tires on-site.
Serving Chippewa Falls Fleets
The city's industrial parks read like a freight manifest. East Hill Industrial Park has Ashley Furniture, Great Northern Corporation, Amcor, Mason Companies and Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Riverside Industrial Park has TTM Technologies, WOW Logistics, Premium Waters and Wisconsin Metal Fab. Lake Wissota Business Park, a joint project of the city and Chippewa County, has Fleet Farm, Nordson EDI, General Beer Northwest and Badger Liquor. That's dry vans, reefers, flatbeds and beverage trailers moving every day.
Beverage and bottled water loads are heavy for their size, and they wear trailers hard. The wear shows in suspension bushings, air bags and torque rods, and in floors and crossmembers. Landing gear suffers too, because it gets cranked under full weight. Our trailer repair and suspension repair work handles that at your yard. Cracked brackets, bumpers, liftgate mounts and dock-damaged rear frames are jobs for mobile welding and fabrication.
Summer Loads and Winter Roads in Chippewa Falls
Summer is peak season for beverage and bottled water freight. It's also when heavy loads, hot pavement and underinflated tires lead to blowouts. Hot weather also finds every weak A/C compressor and condenser in the fleet. Keep tire pressures checked. If a tire or a cab A/C fails mid-route, we can fix it at the truck.
Winter on WIS-29 and US-53 is cold, windy and salty. Air dryers that skipped fall service let moisture freeze in the lines, batteries die on overnight parks, and salt corrodes trailer lighting and ABS connectors. In spring, WisDOT's Class II road and seasonal posted road restrictions apply on many state highways until the frost is out. WisDOT posts the dates and rules on its seasonal weight restrictions page.
How Much Does Mobile Truck Repair Cost in Chippewa Falls?
We price each repair on what the truck needs. Parts, special equipment, diagnostic time and after-hours calls all move the number. So does travel, which is a real part of the cost.
Before any work starts, you get an estimate, so you know the expected cost. Repairs and maintenance carry a 12-month warranty, and you pay by credit or debit card on-site. If several trailers at one yard need work, have us check them all on the same visit. The trip goes further that way.
